It smells like a heavy dose of perfume, or maybe cologne, and you can't read it but you're sure if you could it would be espousing your many virtues and all the ways the writer thinks you are SO handsome and strong and sexy and pretty and graceful and clever and kind and and and and and--

Well, it's all very flattering, or maybe annoying, or perhaps both, depending on who you are, but... who is this secret admirer, anyway?!

While many Zephyr showcase a golden spread of warm summer yellows, the gold on this Zephyr is a more true colour. Burnished hints of amber darken the golden cape that cloaks her, wrapping around a svelte body to fade to a cream colour over her breast, the not-quite-white expanse dotted with darker burnished spots, almost metallic in their timbre. Her eyes are a startling intense, deep dark red. Each pinion is outlined in a harsh, pale colour that can only be called yellow in the strictest sense, barely discernible from white were it not so nigh preternaturally harsh. Sharp of beak, straight of back, she is undeniably intimidating despite her stature, and equal parts dangerous and beautiful to behold.

It is said when one of these small Arathli befriend the leader of the aerie, prosperity will follow. That they are often a partner of those known for their intelligence and wisdom.

She would certainly have you believe all of this is true of her.

As swift of mind as she is of body, she carries herself with a judicial confidence few can rival. And what she is judging is the balance of the world. All things in light cast a shadow; all night skies are lit by stars. She accepts the bad lots in life with the same stoic humility she accepts the good that comes. It is only the extremes that she strikes out with a vengeance. And it is very much vengeance that colours her personal brand of justice; an eye-for-an-eye is only fair and balanced, is it not? And that need for balance over all she rules extends to her bonded, the sole connection to her soul, for better or for worse; when your bravery falters, Yjrn, she will push you to be bold and face what comes your way as part of the harmony of the world's ups and downs, but likewise if you are wronged she will urge you to seek to bring equilibrium to the distruption of the way of things. Life is a glorious adventure for this little, dare we even say tiny Nebula. Although no mutant dwarf, she definitely did not win any tall genetics in her family, low and stocky and covered in thick loose skin with thicker fur, tiger-striped like the siberian feline she kinda resembles. A deep purple body is patterned with painted-looking neon-magenta stripes, all colours fading paler on her stomach. Her beak is a brilliant orangey yellow, a vibrant match to her golden flare of wings fading from bright sun-orange to butter-yellow at the tips, stray threads of magenta sneaking onto the feathers from her body with a refusal to stay within the lines, so to speak. Despite her low-slung body, and casual, almost lazy habit of lounging and strolling around, she can move lightning-fast when she wants to. She just often doesn't want to. What's the hurry? She's got a long life to live yet!

Sociable, friendly, occasionally silly and mischievous, Zae is generally tender-hearted and well-meaning, eager to see everyone happy and cheer them up, and eager to see more of the world, more of the skies and seas, more of everything. Every breath of air seems to reinvigorate her love of life, and there's nothing she wants to do more than share it with her bonded most of all. Life is best when shared, after all; and despite her bright disposition and warm heart, once upon a time, she had no one to remind her it was all going to be okay for herself. She buries it deep, memories of an apathetic despair that had crept in without her noticing; traces of a bone-deep loneliness that she feared she'd never shake. Rosetta is a tall specimen of her species, with lean legs and slender frame. Her body is covered in shimmering pearl, dancing under the sun’s rays and rippling in the shadows of the moon. On her face is splashed a soft rosey pink, reaching her ears, down her nose and speckling just barely past her cheeks. Mane and tail are champagne gold, usually kept braided and decorated with roses of all colors. Her horn, like a beacon upon her forehead, is a brilliant blood-red; a sharp contrast to the soft colors on the rest of her body. Even her hooves, gray colored pearl, are gentle on the eyes.

There is something about Antoith that is sharp, not just in mind, but in appearance. Her tail is long and comes to a thin point, her snout is long and almost pointed, her eyes are narrow, faceted but always keen to observe what's around her. Her limbs are long, spindly, though she is agile in flight, tucking herself in so that she can maneuver midair like a torpedo. She's dark forest green in color with slashes of paler faded greens, olive green, moss green, hunter green throughout her body, like brush strokes, with no rhyme or reason in the pattern. Her hide seems to not be particularly fond of reflecting any light, like a forest that completely swallows up the sun. Her voice is low, scratchy, and why wouldn't it be? It's gone through everything that she has, hasn't it?

Antioth has seen some shit, and it has sculpted her, chipping at her and creating who she is today. She absolutely detests authority, embracing freedom so fully that she will lash out if she feels that it is threatened. She still has the social aspect that is common in Emeralds, enjoying going around and meeting new beings, but she is also flighty, and will often ghost people as a side-effect of some sort of fear of being tied down. While she will fight tooth and claw with everything she has, she is not stubborn, willing to be malleable, because being stringent and stuck in your ways is the opposite of being free, and she certainly won't sacrifice that. She's a bit of a troublemaker, stirring up discord and disorder where she can, and Keehar if she doesn't enjoy it. She'll want everyone to lighten up, and that includes you, Zebey, and she will challenge everyone around her, her bonded especially.

But just because she's a challenging individual doesn't mean that Antioth doesn't enjoy being challenged herself. What better way is there to fly in the face of mediocrity, of sameness, than by growing? She might go through it clawing and screaming, but at the end of the day, she recognizes when things are better, and it's not like she doesn't want things to be better. Even when she lashes out at you, Zebey, she has no problem admitting fault, and she might even try to make it up to you. Deep down, Antioth has a difficult time trusting others, and most of this comes because it is the only way she knows how to protect herself. She may laugh, brush things off as if it were nothing. She's a master of deflection, of turning attention off of herself or off of the parts of herself that she doesn't want to be scrutinized. It's up to those who she may let get close to her, especially her bonded, if they want to dig her out.

Many think Gryphons are majestic, grandiose, fierce beasts. They are not wrong. But to look at Khouninpae, it would not immediately be obvious how much power he has wrapped inside him. His body is soulless black, as are his wings, his talons, his lion-tufted tail; as is all of him, without remark, save for his ember-like eyes. Perhaps when he ages, white shall appear like distant stars peering across vast infinities of time on the nightscape of his fur and feather, but how many years will it be until the eternal can be considered old? His beak is black like rough-hewn coal, matte and unshined, and he speaks in surprisingly soft tones for such a harshly shaped feature. Neither is he remarkable in his size, for he is small, skinny to the point of questioning his health, though he never seems to lack for energy for it. His rib bones and patches of thin fur showing off his thinner skin, easily abraded, though it seems not to trouble him. His wings fly for endless hours, unceasing, though he can lift limited weight with him. Like his terrestrial body, his flight is a skill of endurance, not power; you may walk, you may run, you may hide, but in the end, he will outlast you, this lean god of shadows.

Khouninpae can wait a thousand years, and a thousand more, without losing patience or devotion. He has come, his love as relentless as the death that comes for all, for his beloved, his one, his only priestess Omorose. Her life is but a brief flash in his nigh-immortal lifespan as a creature of unknown myth and origin, but he would devote every moment of the few seconds he has with her, if she will let him. Despite the fervency of his ardour, he is a quiet companion; his heartbeat flutters like a hummingbird when she is near, though he makes no proclamations of his love, nor ever guilts or cajoles her to return his connection to her. He is, after all, born from some strange ethereal origin, a creature entirely unlike her, their only true link the worship of gracious Anubis; how can he expect her to carry the same silent adoration that he does? What humanoid can know what emotions are when they live so short and go so quickly to the boneyard to be ferried on and away? All he asks, in his solemn, keening yearning way, is the chance to chase his Omorose, his beautiful sun against the backdrop of his darkness, before she fades away.

Oh, David… Gryphons are intelligent, generally gentle creatures. They are seen as good omens, highly revered in the Weyrd. So why is it when this one says your name, goosebumps crawl along your skin? You think she means well; you certainly can’t say she doesn’t care about you. But the level in which she cares is a bit… extreme. In fact, everything concerning you with her is a bit on the extreme side. It’s very clear she’s an obsessive type, your Ohtherrae; and you don’t quite know to what extents she will go to keep you. Unfortunately, as well, she seems to be one-minded. Her gaze will never stray from you, and if she discerns you’re attempting to convince her to, she’s go into a melancholic rage.

Indeed, if you give anyone else too much of your attention, Ohtherrae starts to get… dark. She is very possessive and does not like ANYONE giving her David a reason to stray from her. There will be times David finds himself trapped in her den for a couple of days until he is able to calm her. But, if he splits his attention enough and spends enough time with the Nebula, he will find her to be rather sweet and enjoyable. Always tread carefully, however; her obsessiveness comes in waves, and sometimes she’ll have a hard time keeping her claws off of you.

A Nebula of slender stature, she’s almost a little hard to look at. Her feathers are bright crimson, with bars of pink of and lighter red. The red shades darken considerably near her front talons and her beak, to the color of dried blood and sickly umber. The fur on her hind quarters is a sharp, contrasting chartreuse. Stripes of yellowed grass crisis-cross down her hind legs. Her wings are a miasma of all the colors found on the rest of her, alternating feathers of chartreuse, yellow-green, blood red and pink. Her eyes burn a dark, rusty orange.

So many things about this Hammer screams that he is a bit of a himbo. He's large, strong, ravishingly handsome, and, well, a little dim. His speech is riddled with grammatical errors and simpler words, he takes long moments to think about what he wants to say next, but sometimes, he will make a quip that seems rather...sarcastic? These moments aren't so rare that they're unusual, they happen frequently enough that you would notice that there was a pattern, but they're so quick, so off from what he normally is like, that it's still almost hard to believe. That is, it would be hard to believe if he didn't frequently make these smart ass comments while looking you directly in the eye.

Most of the time, he's sweet and charming, happy-go-lucky, a hard worker. He's incredibly easy to get along with, as he's more often than not quite cooperative and happy to please. His bouts of sass are often targeted to specific individuals (including his bonded), to the point that anyone who doesn't see this side of him would probably not believe you. He's not particularly adventurous, tending more to be a homebody, but he's also incredibly difficult to upset and generally happy to go with the flow if he has to. He's rather patient for his rank, but sometimes it's also hard to tell what exactly he's thinking about, and what about himself he is hiding.

He is indeed a handsome creature. He isn't simply big and bulky, he looks rather well muscled as well. Though his claws are blunt, they're large, and he can easily pick up and move heavy things, or crush stones with his strength. His plates are a deep blood red color, almost black unless he's under bright sunlight, and it shimmers like obsidian though it is made of an incredibly hard stone.

Some evil masterminds are, well evil. And some are masterminds.

And then there's this guy. If a snake could have an evil moustache to twirl his would be the most magnificent you had ever seen. His dark black scales shimmer like an oil slick when he moves, and the egg-tooth on his nose forms a rather attractive crest that rises up and tapers off between his eyes. In the right lighting he's got a trail of darker spots down his spine that turns into a spiral around hit ail but you'd be hard pressed to see it.

His heart is in the right place at least. Depending on your definition of right. Or place. Or maybe even heart. Don't ask where he got that dessicated organ that might be a heart and might be a pancreas. You see he's got this bit of a thing about the dead and raising them into an unholy army with which to take over the weyrd. He'll even show you this terrible grimoire he found so long as you can read sheet music and don't mind going mad from looking at it. Some charmers charm snakes, some snakes charm the dead. For all his aspiring necromantic dreams, however, his greatest skill lies in his voice. A creature of perfect pitch and grace you're more likely to be charmed by this snake than be able to charm him. He'll criticise your flute playing and show you how to do it better without even having fingers. Who said a necromancer can't have hobbies in song and dance? He could be a master of both. If he were just a teensy bit more focused on his goals and just a teensy bit less focused on looking the part of preening, handsome devil.

A sweet creature, their appearance reflects as such. Their velvety body is covered in deep pink, dark reds, and a soft purple-touched light red shade. The colors melt together, transitioning from one to the other that makes them look like a giant gradient. The darker colors collect around their tail, going lighter as you travel to their nose. The light pink covering their face has the distinct slightly darker lines that make it look like their eyes and mouth are surrounded by pink petals.

This Fantasy is as gentle as they look. Sincere and kind, Junho might get the sneaking suspicion that the Visp has a crush on them; and that’s probably accurate. They wear their heart on their … back? Tail? You know what we mean. Anyways, this little one is an emotional creature that has a huge heart. Their affection is openly given, and there’s always room for another to add to the list of those they adore. But they’ll never outshine you, Junho, in their mind. You will always be their number one. They enjoy spending time with you, discussing topics as simple as the weather or as involved as contemplating the meaning of life. They’ll go for walks on the beach, along with adventures into the dark terrifying unknown. Basically, as long as they’re with you, they’re up for anything.

This Cloud is quite the specimen. He’s lean, built, a pristine image of what a Gryphone should be. Even some Whazzitians admit to him being a handsome, smooth fellow. He’s a beautiful sapphire blue, his fur covered haunches dappled in soft whites. His feathers shift in a gorgeous array of sapphire blues and sky grays, like a handsome storm-covered sky.

And who could deny Oleandae anything? He’s so charming, so thoughtful; others swoon when he gives them his attention, melting under his taloned touch. They all hope to be the subject of his gaze; his voice is sultry and silk. The words he speaks are eloquently crafted to soothe you into a flustered puddle. He could ask for the heavens and be delivered the universe, if he wanted. It’s obvious that his attributes don’t end at his charisma; there’s intelligence behind those words, who he turns his attentions to. Haelys will pick up on this quickly.

For all the softness an romanticism that he oozes, there’s a harsh side to him nobody really sees. His bonded sees it; as the one closest to him, she sees his anger. His rage when he doesn’t get what he wants; when he’s denied something he so subtly mentioned, and his plan didn’t work the way he had crafted it to. Being tied to him is weathering a storm; he’s toxic, Oleandae, and you wouldn’t see it from the outside. Many might even argue with Haelys, should she try to tell anyone else. Gaslighting isn’t out of his repertoire, but Haelys knows there’s something…more, hidden within the storms in his mind. He doesn’t mean to do this. He can’t control his anger and how it lashes out. His bond is the only one he can trust with these emotions, and the gryphon just can’t handle them well. Perhaps with time, Haelys can train him into a true gentleman. It’ll take some wit- if you’re up to the challenge.

There is no creature on this Planet that is better to explore with than Itzal. Inquisitive is the least of it. He wants to not only gain knowledge but he wants to learn, truly fully grasp and understand everything he can. He wants to know things intimately, know them not simply in one singular way but from every angle. And while Itzal is very serious about his quest, that doesn't mean that he thinks that he needs to be serious embarking&nbsp;on the quest. Knowledge is fun, and fun is how he tackles every mistake that becomes a lesson, every illusion that is utterly shattered. His delight in everything becoming a learning experience does sometimes make him appear to be a little bit insensitive, he doesn't always realize that not everyone finds as much enjoyment in being wrong as he does, but he doesn't find happiness in the wrongness, just the now being able to figure out what's right-ness.



Azimuth is his equal in every way, not just as his bonded but his partner. There is no better way to learn than through the others around him, and he wants to help Azimuth learn, too. He will devote himself to his studies, but he will also devote himself to yours, and sure his enthusiasm might be a little much at times, but drawing back is part of the learning experience. He is a bit set in his ways, sure, but learning how to be the best bonded that he can be is all a part of his journey, is it not? So though his personality is strongly present, he is always doing his best. Is he a bit of a know-it-all? Sure, but he wouldn't think so. There is so much left that he still doesn't know.



He is a tall and muscular being, and his coat is a shimmering velvet-y black, extremely soft to the touch and always glossy. His mane and tail tuft are silver-y in color and always a little bit longer than he can maintain, wild and untamed. He has a navy blue sock that stretches up his back left leg, and his cloven hooves are a dark gray, only distinguishable from black because they are lighter than his coat.&nbsp;His eyes too are a dazzling silver, peering straight into your soul. His horn is a dull indigo, as if the color was partially bleached out, though it does somehow always look healthy and shiny.
