Appearance
Azimuth, to sum up her appearance in 'short,' is a 16 foot tall giant of a robot who has an alt form modeled after a kind of fighter jet, if something rather foreign to anything of human designing. Granted, by comparison to other Cybertronians she's actually quite short as most Lunarians are. She looks startlingly like her brother, Zenith, though since they are fraternal twins that isn't surprising. She's just as slender as he is, if not a bit more so, with the same long legs, digitigrade feet and narrow hips. The arrangement of their wings, tailfins, and propulsion systems between her shoulders is a match for his as well, though admittedly her face is much more feminine than his and makes it fairly clear she likes to be referred to as a female. Like Zenith she was copper originally but where his tarnished to greens and teals she turned blue and teal which when combined with the lingering bits of copper color at her joints and highlighting her face might give the impression of a lapis lazuli.
History:
Azi was sparked on Cybertron, one of the first wave of Lunarians brought online after the Great War drew to a close and the first documented fraternal twin with her older brother, Zenith. She grew to maturity in Kalis, surrounded by a cohort who loved her as fiercely as they loved each other. With their support she grew into an intelligent, curious young Lunarian with a bright future ahead of her. That future was realized when she followed her twin into recruitment by an exploration team set to find Cybertron’s many lost colonies. For five millennia she aided in their search primarily assisting with creating star charts to keep track of their progress but also assisting her brother on his scouting so that they would never get lost as long as she could see the sky.
On one of her many journeys across the stars a quantum engine malfunction sent Zee away to at the time points unknown, devastating his twin who lost all Spark-connection to him and believed he had died. She fell into a deep depression as she mourned for him, suffering nightmares and behaving as organics might have put it 'like a zombie' until it was decided thread one final search in the same area might help her come to terms with her loss.
However during said search a similar anomaly occurred and with a promise to be careful and try to somehow communicate her findings back Azi threw herself into it with the hope that it might reunite her with her lost brother.
Personality: Azi is a curious, inquisitive sort especially where her scientific passion lies: astronomy. In comparison to Zenith Azimuth is by far the more serious-minded of the two, able to focus on a single task to the exclusion of all else for many hours on end or until dragged away by her brother (more often than not for her own good; all work and no play makes for a stuffy sister). Despite this, however, Azi is more than capable of enjoying herself and having fun be it at parties or watching something entertaining or going for a fly. She enjoys music and singing in particular but is incredibly shy about doing so in public aside from Zenith and their cohort. She shares his dislike for bullies and enjoyment for helping those in need though she might take more time than Zee forming a plan to accomplish her goals. Thankfully, she's also quite adept in utilizing her brother's exuberance in said plans.
Abilities:
Transformer - There’s a reason Cybertronians were nicknamed ‘Transformers’. Azi, like the rest of her kind, is capable of swapping between a humanoid root mode and a vehicular alt-mode at will. She can also shift herself into a compact half-sized form, ending up at about seven and a half or so feet tall; quite useful when communicating with smaller races.
Holoform - As another means to interact with smaller species, specifically humans, Azimuth can project a human-looking holographic form. This form can go where she can't and interact with others. Through it she can feel a semblance of sensation and touch. Even if no one sees her form it at first glance it's fairly clear it's Azimuth, however.
Azimuth's Holoform blinks into being in a shimmer of teal light that matches her eyes, appearing as a female human about 5'7"in height with copper-gold hair pulled into a high ponytail, teal eyes behind round blue frames, and a lightly tamed complexion, typically wearing a long-sleeved, blue, fold-over shirt, deport blue pants and boots, and teal, snug gloves. She often adjusts the glasses when she is speaking of astronomy or uncertain, a habit viewed also in how Azimuth will adjust her goggles in the same situations.
Minor Regeneration Point-One Percenter - An unusual number of Lunarians were so-called ‘point-one percenters’, mecha with atypically powerful sparks and associated unusual abilities.
Azimuth has two abilities, one minor and one much more potent.
Azi has a minor regenerative ability like her twin though nowhere near as powerful; where he can heal wounds in minutes it takes her considerably longer but still noticeably faster than usual. He might get a gash and it close in seconds, where the same gash in her would close over about a minute.
Bright Spark Point-One Percenter
She also has the ability to do something Zenith termed 'Bright Spark.' With a bit of concentration and a small exertion of energy a soft light like starlight begins to glow in the middle of her chest and wrapping around her like an aura. It by itself provides light to see by. However she can also supercharge this light, causing it to abruptly brighten in a burst of blinding brilliance that blinds those who are looking at her. This takes a lot of energy out of her, and she's usually left exhausted after just one burst. Should she have to do it a second time in a short span she would likely get knocked offline and need either a long time in the sun or even liquid energon to recover.
Unremarkable - All Lunarians share a strange ability to go unnoticed unless actively calling attention to themselves. As a result, Azi is remarkably easy to overlook despite being, y’know, a giant robot from space.
Solar Powered - A common upgrade on post-war Cybertron, Azi and many others were fitted with solar energon converters. By spending time in direct sunlight Azi can replenish her internal energon stores, effectively ‘eating sunlight’. Provided she can spend enough time in the sun, this effectively eliminates her need to actually ingest energon.
Star Guide - Once Azi is familiar with the nighttime sky of a particular planet she quickly memorizes constellation patterns, celestial movements, and notable landmarks, making relative connections in her mind so that even if she doesn't exactly know what direction 'north' may lie she can always find her way around.
