Bite-Sized BP-Earners

So, I'm an ADD mess. It's really hard for me to focus on anything for any meaningful length of time. That makes some of the current ways to earn BP feel pretty daunting. This isn't a problem with BP earning in and of itself, it's a problem with my attention span, so I spent some time thinking about smaller tasks that felt more attainable but would still add to the site. Here's what I came up with!
1. The Botanist's Guide to Planet
We know all about the fauna of Planet, but what about the flora? The idea here is to come up with player-created plant species that could be referenced in RP posts. Maybe there's a species of purple cactus that only grows upside-down in caves, or a technicolor bush that only blooms on consecutive Thursdays! Come up with an idea, write out some basic information about it, post it in the guide, and get some BSP for your contribution.
2. Bestiary
Same idea as above, but with animals! This would be a place for all those species you want to reference that aren't bondable- critters out in the forest, in the ocean, or kept as livestock around the weyrd. Wherries, chocobos, and sea monsters come to mind. Again, the process here would be: come up with critter, write out basic information, post it up, get 'paid'.
3. Official NPC Contest
This one would require significantly more work for the staff, so I hesitated to mention it, but here goes. We know about George and the role he plays in the weyrd. What about other weyrd leadership? Is there a mayor? How about a specific barkeep everyone knows about? Does the weyrd have an attached actual weyr with a senior weyrwoman and weyrleader? For this, people could write up brief descriptions of NPCs, submit them, and have them become part of the site world as sort of communal NPCs anyone could borrow.
4. Official Places Contest
Kind of in the same vein as the NPC contest, this would be a way to make 'canon' places anyone could use in RP. Maybe there's a convent of nuns who make tie-dye habits up in the hills, or a merfolk village hidden just off the coast! Same process as before: write up a place, post it, get tasty BPs.
5. Drabble Contest
This is me being a giant chicken re: the music prompt challenge. I love the idea of that challenge but it's so, so big... so let's go in the opposite direction! Drabbles are short pieces with a strict word count. (100 words, for example, though the exact number would be up to the admins.) For this contest you'd have to submit a series of drabbles around a central theme and adhere to that strict word limit. Pull that off, get BP.
6. Description Exchange
I'm 99% sure Was!zzit had this but I haven't seen it pop back up yet. The idea here is for people to post shinies they own but don't have descriptions for. (EG, I purchased a gryphon for Zee, but I haven't actually written her description yet. Whoops.) Someone else comes along, writes the description for said shiny, posts it up, and gets BP as a thank-you.
I've intentionally left the amount of BP these activities would reward blank. I'm not looking to torpedo the BP economy here, so I'll leave balance to the admin team. These were just some ideas I've had knocking around in my head that I thought might be interesting.
If anyone else has ideas for smaller-scale BP-earning activities, feel free to post them here too!
