Name: Tynis
Title: Priest of Duuara (God of Death and Funerary Rituals)
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexual Orientation: Asexual panromantic
Age: 83 (120 is average for his race, though his God blesses him with extra longevity)
Race: (I totally haven't thought of a name but basically humans with red skin)
Appearance: Tynis is of a very average height and build compared to a human. Just under 6 foot, his build is of one who is active enough but not particularly athletic. A certain softenss to the lines of his body indicate he might indulge a little too much in diet. His skin is a rich maroon color, partly natural and partly enhanced through ritual bathing with red wine that is typical of his position. His gold toned hair is shaved carefully in a mohawk, braided close against his head. His hooded eyes are a rich amber color, striking against his skin. Other notable features include gold capped canines and an intricate scarification across his chest depicting a cicada. Most of his clothes are a simple roughspun material and include tunics and long pants gathered at the ankles and wrists. He generally wears gloves as well to avoid undesired skin to skin contact. While appreciative of intricate decoration, he prefers simple gold jewelry. If his services are needed (end of life care and funerary practices) he dons his ritual robes. Rich gold silk embroidered in wine colored runes are contrasted with his bone laden head dress laced with it's own gold wire.
Personality: Tynis is not exactly used to excessive social contact. While his profession is necessary, a visit from Tynis signals the departure of a soul from this earth to another realm and is not hoped for. Because of this he has tended toward avoiding unnecessary contact with people. However, he has had many years to develop a very warm and soothing demeanor. He takes his work very seriously and gives of himself freely. A bit of a sensitive soul, Tynis is touched by every death he witnesses. He can certainly be prone to bouts of depression as his solitary lifestyle leaves him with too much time to dwell on those that he has sent off to Duuara's garden. In his off time he can seem a little too emotional at times and seems to navigate the world by whim and not logic. It goes without saying that he is deeply religious/spiritual. In his free time he enjoys wine making, whittling and keeps a small garden of herbs that he can fashion into tinctures to ease the passing of those he may come into contact with.
Likes: a warm fire, mulled wine, insects, custard fruit
Dislikes: The cold, rude people, meat, "complex" technology (even a clock is too much if he thinks about it)
Powers: Tynis has a limited ability to take someone elses wounds/sickness/pain temporarily. It is a mark of his God and not one he has control of. Due to this he can be very skittish of physical contact.
