George’s drumbeats sounded soon after the sun stretched up over the horizon. They might have woken any Whazzitinian who wasn’t an early riser or parting from amorous encounter, but they were low, clear, beating out a message. A casche bonding, that was clear, and the rest of the message was quite short.
Find the doors in the fields…
And anyone who decided to venture to the fields to find exactly what the message meant would find that it meant exactly what it said. On the field were a series of doors, eleven to be exact, all of them slightly different, all of them evenly spaced apart. All of them were the size of a…regular door, but anyone of any size would find, through some weird warp-y PIF magi, that anyone would fit. It was unclear what was on the other side of any of them.
A ways away from the door was a fluffy nest with a caboodle of young casche, with an Artificiaphile mother napping at the edge and a winged woman sitting nearby, relaxed, leaning back on her arms. The woman would pick up one of the young ones whenever one tried to climb out of the nest, plunking it back down in the center, and while a couple of the younglings gave up after a few failed attempts, some didn’t know what failure even meant. Loria had just figured that it'd be nice to give mom a break.
She greeted everyone with a smile, a tilt of her head so that her thick black hair shifting with her movement. “Come say hi,” her voice was low, both in volume and in pitch, and she gestured at the casche, “or pick a door.” Helpfully, she offered no further explanation, though she’d be happy to chat if anyone had approached. She probably wouldn’t be much help though. She hadn’t gone through any of the doors.
Door One - The Pink Door - The glass on this door (and just the door is there) is frosted enough that it’s impossible to see through it, in fact, the colors of the glass seem to just look in through the other side of the door in the field. The handle is warm to the touch, but in a pleasant way. It seems like there’s a light, cloudy fog around it, but it’s hard to tell if it’s just morning mist.
Door Two - The Viney Door - This door has vines, moss, and various plants climbing along the edges. All of the plants are alive, and the flowers that blossom along it smell sweet, fragrant. The door is green, but it doesn’t even look like it was ever painted, just stained, but it is a nice color.
Door Three - The Rosy Door - This wooden door is covered in golden filigree and yep, yeah it does look like cold. Growing around it are red roses, that seem to be blooming on both sides, no matter which way you try to enter.
Door Four - The Navy Door - This door is rather plain, and again the glass is frosted enough that you can’t see through it much at all.
Door Five - The Crystal Door - This door is white, with the translucent area made clearly of crystals rather than glass. The sun catches the crystals wildly, and the door really sparkles.
Door Six - The Snowy Door This door is a dark wood color, with glass that is dusted on snow on both sides. The handle is a little chilly, and laying your hadn on any part of the door is cold to the touch.
Door Seven - The Neon Door - The door is a regular door, but outlined in neon. The neon is a mix of pinks and blues, and glows, no matter what time of day it is.
Door Eight - The Worn Door - This door is a bright blue, but it is breaking down. The paint is chipped, the door seems creaky, and it almost looks that something or someone has been clawing at it.
Door Nine - The Wooden Door - This wood on this door looks almost rotten. It opens in two places, and you’ll need to push both halves to go through.
Door Ten - The White Door - This door is pristine, a white color with beautiful gold paint on the edges. When you touch the handle it seems like it’s vibrating, as if there’s something very loud on the other side, even though you can’t hear it.
Door Eleven - The Black Door - This door is pitch black, everything about it. As if it absorbs all of the light that touches it.

Welcome to our very first casche bonding! This was meant to be a fairly easy-going bonding but I got an idea, but there won't really be any strict structure to it! Post as many times as you want between rounds (unless you need to wait for me, but feel free to just interact with each other). You can bring as many characters as you want, and there aren't really any rules outside of the normal don't be rude ooc ones! This bonding will not be closing but if you jump in when it's almost over, you know how it goes.
Next Round - Sometime the week of February 28th. |D
What to Do Now - Interact with the casche (mom is not bondable), Loria my newest NPC, or step into one of the doors!
