Name: Kader Kenji
Quote: "Uh... My bad..."
Age: Early 20s
Gender: Male
Species: Raven Shifter/Elf with a hint of Nymph
Sexuality: *confused raven noises*
:Appearance:
Were it not for the strikingly different hair and eye colors, one could be forgiven for mistaking Kader for his dearly departed father, Altair. The boy, now a man, has inherited the same chiseled jawline, the same shape of the eyes (aside from the emerald color, which he got from his mother) and the same body shape now that he's grown into it. Though he's spent some time away from the weyrd, and now sported many tattoos over his well-kept body, he remained the same within, personality wise. He is definitely on the taller end, though not overly so, with sandy brown hair that hangs in bangs that fall around his eyes in an almost soft way. He smiles and laughs easily, and his body isn't marred by the same scars his father had gained before him, at least not yet.
His ears are distinctly elven, flicking and almost flattening with his emotions, though it's his other form that gains most of the attention -- nearly the size of an Arathlial, Kader is capable of taking the form of a massive, pure white raven. Oddly, his feathers seem to have the same shimmery colorful effect that normal ravens have, lending him to almost appear opalescent when flying above.
Clothing wise, he tends to wear whatever is most comfortable, leaning more towards the t-shirt and baggy pants spectrum of things, though it isn't unusual to find him running barefoot through the woods, conversing with the trees.
Build: Athletic, like his dad
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 145lbs

If you ever ask Kader to describe himself for you, he will immediately declare that he is the best kind of cake. If asked to explain his answer, he will smile and tell you it's because he has many, many layers; on the forefront, he is quiet around those who are new to him, almost appearing shy to a degree. He is soft spoken a majority of the time, his voice only raising when he's excited about something or if he's battling, though he tends to relax the more he gets to know others around him. Once he's fully at ease around people, however, he tends to become almost goofy, finding joy in laughter and general happiness especially if he can cause it.
Just under that, one will find the almost soldier-like mentality that the boy possesses, drilled into him by years of training to avoid ending up in the same fate his father passed in. When needed, he can snap to attention, earlier mentioned silliness all but nonexistent the further into the 'zone' he is. No move or word is wasted, and his attacks rarely miss - though despite how rigid he can appear to be when in this mindset, he is still capable of being gentle and caring, especially when attempting to comfort those he may be protecting. Kader would gladly lay his life down to keep others safe without a single thought of himself, and has very nearly done so in the past for some of the people in the town he had come from; he is determined to be the light to those stuck in darkness, no matter the cost. Though, despite being what he calls 'super serious' during this time, he tends to get easily flustered and embarrassed if anyone actually thanks him for what he's done for them.
Outside of battling and doing important tasks, Kader could even be considered a clutz; things slip out of his hands as if they were coated in butter, and he can trip over flat surfaces at least once a day. Despite this, he loves to help others, even if it's just helping that elderly lady across the street, or helping the pregnant lady carry her groceries to the car. He's polite and always the first to offer his hand to anyone that seems to need it. This also applies to people being bullied or attacked for no reason - he will dive head first into the fray to defend them, unwilling to back down until the person is out of trouble. Doing so often leads to him getting injured in some way or another, so it's of no surprise that he wears bandages almost like an accessory, though it hardly bothers the boy. He does have a temper that will flare when someone is being mistreated, otherwise very little seems to upset him.
As for the topic of admirers, or him admiring someone, he isn't quite sure what to do with the affections in either direction. Should he be approached, he will often blush and stammer, going shyer than even his norm as he attempts to figure out what to do with the attention. If he attempts to do the approaching, he will be brave enough to draw the gaze of the one who caught his interest, though he's quick to blush and change what he was originally going to say on the fly, often times beating himself up mentally afterwards for not being more assertive. All in all, it's not wrong for someone to call him an optimist and friendly, and gosh darn it he is the best cake anyone will ever get to experience - not that you would ever catch him saying that out loud. He's not that confident, you know.

:History:
Kader's history is a bit on the... Tragic side. You see, his parents were Altair and Aranel, who had loved each other greatly. Due to some things that happened at the time, shortly after the boy was born, Aranel left to explore the world and Altair stayed behind with their son. Sadly, the man would be ripped apart by a clan of animals while his Kal'daka ran off with the baby to safety, leaving the man's heartbroken shinies behind to raise the boy on their own.
They did decently, up until he fell into a strange tide pool, that promptly aged him to his younger teen years, during which he attended a fateful dragon bonding that reunited him with his mother, who returned to seek her family she'd left behind.
Years passed, and the boy continued to grow from boy to man, up until tragedy struck again. A terrible storm struck up where he lived with Aranel, and while his Ruby dragon managed to Between him to safety, she didn't return with his mother, leaving him alone and confused. Lost, and unsure of what to do now, the shifter would roam this new area of Planet, eventually stumbling on civilization and attempting to make a home for himself there...
