Awake. Everyone is suddenly startled awake, and not where they put their head to sleep, no. They’d find themselves in the middle of a living room, a broad one, with a nice set of leather couches, tall windows on one of the walls, an enormous flat screen tv. The kitchen is a bit of a ways back, but beautiful with red granite tops, an island, and two sinks. The tiles in the kitchen lead right back to the smooth hardwood floor of the living room, covered in the center with a plush rug and a smooth glass coffee table. The lights are off, anyone that tried to flicker on the switch would find that the power’s been cut dead.
And nearby, right in front of the tv, a crumpled form, hidden beneath a sheet. Two sheets, as if one isn’t enough.
That isn’t the only off thing that anyone might notice, if they looked more carefully. Behind the cascade of translucent curtains are steel plates, covering the entirety of the glass. The rug has a smattering of discoloration on it, though it’s hard to tell what it is exactly in the dark. A knife block sits in the kitchen, but the knives are conveniently missing. In the several seconds it took to wake, to take in the surroundings, even for someone who is not familiar with a world such as this, it is clear that something is not right.
Not to mention the breeze, even when everything is iron-tight shut. Seemingly, anyway.
Oh, you’re up. The luminous gaze of the Absolute Forward Sanguis stares at everyone, a bit blankly. She looks down at the crumpled form beneath the sheets. Umbra. she says without blinking. She has no answers for anyone wondering how they are there, or why they are there. She instead takes her blazingly red and yellow form and walks towards the stretch of the stairs that face the front door, another form, weak, clearly injured. The Waves Under the Sea Deus looks up at the group, but barely makes an effort to move his head.
We need to get to the city. The Sanguis said shortly, nodding at her brother. Just down the highway a mile or two. There is a group that heals. She doesn’t mention the other crumpled forms that are spread all around the stairs, covered by towels, sheets, blankets, rugs. She steps calmly over an arm, unmoving. Anyone that asks would get a simple answer. We had to survive.
She would wait by the door then, ready for everyone to gather around. There’s an ironing board and a blanket and a few other things that could maybe be used as a makeshift stretcher for the Deus. But it was a mystery whether the journey would be long or short.
Rules
1. Bonding is loosely based off the movie with the same title. Your character(s) will NOT be injured, seriously anyway, unless you request it.
2. You can bring any characters you want!
3. Bonding won't close for a bit, just have your character randomly fall off into wherever they are.
4. Feel free to send prefs if you'd like, not if you'd not like.
5. I'd prefer small shinies that can't have a huge impact on the plot if you want to bring any. ALSO, I don't mind magic and abilities, but if they are anything that would totally make the plot not possible (ie. your character can magically heal the Deus completely, or wipe out the enemies with a wink), please assume that it doesn't work in the world because [redacted].
6. Be nice, etc. PM me with questions!

Luna will likely be waking up with everyone else. :)
