The slayer wasn't being noticed, and she smirked at it. She watched Rhiannon stand on her log and plead to the crowd, but they tore her down quickly, shooting back their fear-fueled reasoning's back at her. Coldly, the drow watched, quietly sheathing her dagger and straightening from the tree. The animosity from the crowd was cloying. The dark skinned woman approached Rhiannon, locking eyes with her. Hopefully she wasn't creeped out by pure silver eyes- with no pupil. "Unfortunately, fear doesn't leave much room for intelligent thoughts," she advised, fire fueling her words. She walked away from her after that, because they had begun the descent into barbarianism.
It didn't take long for Haelys to give the call. Once they had gotten in range- even after they all witnessed two other dragons circling in the sky, arguing about the situation- Zebey could hear them, surprised to find they both spoke Common- the attack commenced. The drow, who had been walking silently with her cloak drawn about her and her hands firmly in its pockets, suddenly snapped into action. Her bow was in her grasp and arrows were shot instantly. But, her arrows weren't aimed at the dragon. Quite the opposite, she was shooting the onslaught of weapons to knock them off course of the dragon. Hoping she was able to prevent some from hitting the Gold, she watched as the female returned fire. Her tail knocked into boulders, sending them down.
The slayer made no move to stop them. She did notice Zenith and Omorose fire off at them, also noticing they were not targeting the dragon with their actions. Maybe there were more of them against the bloodthirsty crowd after all. Zebey kept her bow in her hands, arrows knocked, her gaze focusing on the crowd as they continued forward. Her eyes sought out sabotage. And if she found an opening, she was going to take it.
