Is "Done" An Emotion? Because I Feel That In My Soul

Well, he did have every intention of just sitting inside today and enjoying the ohsocozy fire that was blazing in the fireplace. Tynis prodded a log until it fell in half in a glorious warm poof of cinder and flame. He wrapped the throw around his lap and sighed, eyes have closed in a semi-doze. He was clearly enjoying himself which meant that Briec absolutely needed his attention right now.
Drums.
Tynis groaned. "Yes, I heard them."
Good then you should be just about ready to leave.
"Leave? I'm not going out there in this weather, it's nice inside."
If it's so nice why wasn't I invited? Hmmm? Besides, we have a reputation to establish and the drums might mean some defenseless little somethings need our help. You wouldn't dare neglect your duties.
Tynis scowled and threw the throw off to the side. "Fiiine. But you're going too and expect to get your hooves all muddy."
An indignant snort was the Unicorns only response as Tynis readied himself and headed out to face the dreary day. He trudged along side his too chipper bond down to beach. Briec's hooves had indeed suffered a little but he was mostly unconcerned as something else caught his attention. Ugh. Something stinks. The unicorn wrinkled his nose and tossed his head, displeased. Even so he bent his head down toward the sand, snorting forcefully once more. Ew. It's definitely coming from right here.
Fortunately (or not) the snort had dislodged some loose sand. Tynis gingerly plucked the Stinky Egg from the sands and held it out in front of him at arms length as he approached the gathered group. The smell was so bad he completely missed the oversized robot thing and didn't even acknowledge anyone that might be familiar. Judging by everyone else's demeanor, not all the eggs must be so repugnant. So it was just dumb bad luck that he ended up with a dud. He set it carefully on the edge of a towel as far from everyone else as he could manage and flicked the edge of the warm fabric over it.
There, the good deed was done. Could he go yet?
((Hah, I love stinky egg))
