Singular: Pegasus
Plural: Pegasi
Group: Herd of Pegasi
The Pegasi of Whazzit are mostly what one would expect. They are equine in appearance and range in size from small ponies to giant draft horses. Unlike their mythical counterparts, Pegasi here can have bat-like wings, along with the more common feathered ones. They come in all colors and patterns imaginable, and all ranks can be either male or female. Although they cannot mindspeak, Pegasi can share both images and emotions with their bonded.
Herds are almost always controlled by one or two stallions, though that is not always set in stone. It is best to keep several mares per stallion, as the males can often be somewhat territorial and aggressive towards each other without a buffer. All mares can have between 1-3 foals, and they almost always come together to have them all at one time.
Mating Info
Mares often chase in pairs or trios, leading their suitors on a fast paced chase on both ground and into the skies. Often the mares will encourage the suitors to spar, though whether they want to watch, or use the distraction to take off again, depends on the mood. Despite the size of the group that may be chasing, mares almost always choose the same suitor as the winner.
Bonding Info
Young Pegasi are ready to leave their mothers at around the six month mark, when they both stop nursing and when their elemental abilities start to show. Treats, trinkets, and colorful clothing can help to attract the young Pegasi, but there’s no real rhyme or reason for how a foal chooses its bond.

Magia
A complete wildcard of a Pegasi, their personalities are wildly varied. Like walking-PIFs, their magic is unique and utterly unpredictable. One day gummy bears could be falling from their hooves, the next it could be lizards, and on some days, they even end up mimicking the magic of other ranks. While some Magia can occasionally have a little more control over their abilities, it is usually rather random and rarely helpful at all.

Ignis
Ignis are often temperamental and challenging Pegasi, though more laid back ones are not completely unheard of. When walking or flying, multicolored sparks flash from their hooves, while ash sometimes rains down on unsuspecting people or gathers around their hooves on the ground. Usually the sparks don’t cause problems, but they do occasionally catch, resulting in colorful flames.

Females: 1 PSP
Putro
Usually hard to train, and often having no attention span or common sense, the Putro can be a challenging Pegasi to work with. Mushrooms of all shapes, sizes, and kinds fall from their hooves when they are in the air, both edible and not. One should be careful where they allow the Putro to go, for on the ground, they may spread spoors to make all sorts of mushrooms grow, or they may cause plants to decay.
Males: 2 PSP
Females: 1 PSP
Terra
These Pegasi tend to be playful tricksters, but their personalities can often range away from that. Unfortunately for anyone under them, small, smooth pebbles of all colors drop from their hooves when they are flying. They also tend to have a surprising knack for finding precious stones and jewels.
Males: 2 PSP
Females: 1 PSP
Vita
Often gentle and loving, Vita usually tend to be a motherly bunch, although more aggressive personalities do happen. Flowers of all colors and sizes rain from their hooves, and it's not unheard of for seeds to be in the mixture. Vitas also have a talent of helping plants to grow, though it doesn’t always work the way it should.
Males: 2 PSP
Females: 1 PSP
Nix
Nix are often high strung and full of attitude, though more well rounded individuals certainly happen. When flying, either snow or small balls of hail rain down from their hooves. They are often chilly to the touch, and frost can cling to those that touch them, or just objects they come in contact with.
Males: 2 PSP
Females: 1 PSP
Tempestas
Full of energy, keeping up with this rank is quite a feat, though more laid back Tempestas do crop up now and then. Rain falls from their hooves when flying, and sometimes sparks of lightning can be seen, and rumbles of thunder can be heard. They are also rather sensitive to the weather, and adept at sensing when storms are approaching.
