A Pyramid Full of Wolves

It was just the beginning of dusk. The sky was grayed, looking washed out across a quiet tundra. The moon was rising and splashing a tinge of blue to everything. It was a very peaceful sight. The moon's light rose higher, eventually splashing across a tall structure that was suddenly settled in the tundra, as if it had always been there. Snow coated all sides of the structure, the bottom rough and worn after centuries. There were even large stone blocks that had fallen. The structure was golden with a blueish hue (thanks to the moon), and it was very easily recognizable.
It wasn't often you saw Egyptian Pyramids just appear in the tundra, after all.
All throughout the Weyrd in the otherwise uneventful night, the sound of drums would roll. But they didn't sound like George's usual drums; they were most certainly different, even more exotic. The sound would lead those listening and curious enough to the pyramid, to the north-facing side where the moon hit the most. There was an opening about twelve feet high on the side of the Pyramid; the rubble made a nifty little staircase leading right to it. Standing there was Ophyra, and her kyorli guide, Yvalm. Of course, since the sun had set, the elf was free of her blindfold; her sharp blue eyes would greet everyone who showed up.
Once enough people were gathered outside, she addressed all of them. As she spoke, she pulled her cloak closely towards her, her breath frosting in the air. "We've been volunteered to help a pack of Ikal'daka get out of here." She jerked her head towards the pyramid that loomed behind them. "There's traps in there, and some nasty ones, so be very careful," the witch warned, pulling back her cloak to reveal her right leg wrapped up in bandages with blood seeped through. "There's also mummies in there, so. I would suggest going in in groups. With weapons." She shrugged. You didn't have to, but like.. The mummies would attack, armed or not.
There are nine in the pack, Yvalm advised them, reverting to common for the benefit of those who didn't know drow. We don't know much about them.
"I'll be joining you in their retrieval," Ophyra added, pulling out her wand which immediately glowed with steel blue light. She picked up a torch out of a small pile that was by her feet, lighting it on fire with a tap of her wand and holding it out for each group that approached the door. "You'll need one of these, it's dark in there. If any of you wish to come with me, you can wait until the others are all inside."
I will be waiting out here for any stragglers, the kyorli said, sitting down on the right side of the door. His ears twitched. Whether they be you or mummies, he added with a wolfish grin. You couldn't expect him not to have some fun while he was stuck out here!
[Rules]
Hey gang! Welcome to Ancient Egypt, feat Whazzit! Here are a couple of rules that I have:
+Only one post between mine, please!
+You may send me preferences if you'd like! They are not required.
+You may bring one shiny with you! The largest shiny that can fit in here is a full grown Daka. Anything larger cannot fit, as the hallways and doorways don't accommodate for them.
+You have absolute control over the rooms and hallways you discover. The only room I describe will be the first room, which I will put in below here. Other than that, go wild!
+If you have any restrictions on injuries your character acquires, please PM me. If you would like to request a certain injury, also PM me.
+You can bring as many of your characters as you'd like!
[Pyramid Entry Room]
After you get your torch from Ophyra and walk through the doorway, you're greeted with a dark hallway. It isn't very long, only about 15 feet, and it opens into a very large room. There isn't much in here; there's a table in the center with scrolls that are rolled up, falling apart, and disintegrating from old age. There are five doorways in this room leading to hallways going in separate directions. Up against the wall on the entrance side, there are a couple of open sarcophagi that have mummies in them, although the largest one seems to be empty. Good sign, right?
